    Hi,

     

    I recently had some problems with my windows live messenger and so had to remove the application. However, when i tried to re-install it, an error message was displayed:

     

    There was a problem with this installation. Windows Live Suite was not installed.
    System error details
    Code:0x80070643
    Description: Fatal error during installation.

     

    On top of this issue, I realised that my Windows Automatic Update could not be activated due to some unknown fault which i believed to be related to the above issue.

     

    Can any technical expert give me some advice on the matter.
