Hi Dragon,
I will be contacting you directly, by email, with a diagnostic tool (Different from the one that you used to post your report) and directions on how to use it.
Very sorry for the wait, I had to dicuss this issue with one of our head Devs and he was in meetings all day.
Thank you,
Darin Smith

Hi TheDragon69,
First off, when you submitted the Service Request, you should have received a Confirmation Number (an automatic email would have been sent to you with that Confirmation number also) would you post that number here? I can then shoot a mail to the Support Group and find out why your request never got answered.
Next, would you go to http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/ and click the "Validate Windows" button. Once the new page comes up, copy the URL and post it here. If there are any errors with Validation, look for a light gray error code similar to this [0xc004c4a8] and then post that error code here also.
Thank you,
Darin Smith

11 AM EST Still no word from support.
FYI
Looking at the event logs, it really does look like the Windows update of 9/27/07 run on my machine @ 3AM EST was the root cause of the current problem. Clueless as to why.
