  • Just for your info, KMS licenses need to be renewed at least every 180 days (or less, depending on the settings made by the admin)

    Activation may not go our of tolerance for a while longer, depending on whether or not KB971033 is installed.

  • You have a Volume License version of Windows 7 Professional installed which can only be activated by the business entity that originally purchased the license. If you are not associated with that entity, you'll need to purchase a new genuine Windows edition and perform a "clean install".

  • This is a licensed copy that's been activated for the past 3 years.  We recently replaced our KMS server and have not setup a new one.  That's probably what's causing the problem.  I will notify our server administrator and let her know that removing the KMS server is causing problems with licenses that have already been activated.  Thanks!
