Microsoft Online CRM - Make a form publicly available RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello All,

I have a Microsoft CRM Online Deployment (I registered couple of days back). In this deployment, I need to have a FORM to create an ACCOUNT entity. This form should be publicly available without asking for any username/password (there should be no authentication on this page).

I know I can develop an ASP.Net Application and use CRM SDK to create this page and programmatically access CRM Entities and there by create account, but I am not looking in this direction because of the fact that I need to host ASP.Net application separately. I want to investigate whether there is something in CRM online deployment, which supports this kind of public page natively through customization or any means.

I have investigated - Sites, Web Resources, Solutions, Templates features in CRM online, but those never helped me. If there are any native CRM online solutions, please share resources.

    Thanks for reading this question.

    Thanks, Rami [ASP.Net MVP]

  • There isn't any native capacity to expose a form externally without a login using CRM Online. You would need to host an external page someplace to facilitate.
