Why during the Windows 7 Genuine Validation does internet explorer experience error?

Question
-
After owning my dell stuido 15 windows 7 system I recently recieved a notice that my system could not be genuine. I followed the link to the website to validate it and I am having some difficulties. When validating and on the screen that says "Windows Validation in Process" a yellow triangle in the IE browser comes up when clicking on it I recieved this messsage. "Webpage error details

I've tried other browsers, Chrome and firefox and still the screen does not continue on. I've also uninstalled the update that the site uses and restarted. I've changed all the settings that the troubleshooting listed and have followed through with all those steps. I really would like to get this finished with so any advice would help. Thank you.

I'm sorry this is such a mess.
It's not your fault - this sort of thing can be caused by malware.I'd run the SFC scan again at this point - since it asked for a reboot it obviously had to do something fairly major.Once complete, reboot anyhow (whether it asks for it or not), and run another MGADiag report.

Who installed Windows 7 on this computer? Please describe the installation disc used.
Carey FrischFriday, July 8, 2011 2:45 AMModerator -
I had received the laptop with windows 7 already installed directly from the dell company. I had the validation alert happen in March of 2010, but everything went through that time. This time I'm not sure what is going on.

Click the Start Orb & type cmd.exe into the search menu.Right click it & select to run as administrator.
Type the following command: sfc /scannow & hit enter.
Wait for the process to finish, when it's done reboot the system & try to Validate Online.

Please visit Dell Drivers & Downloads and enter your Dell Service Tag Number or Dell Model Model. Look for a BIOS update file, then download and install it.

TB19 : Waited for the whole process to finish. Said to reboot for changes to be made. Rebooted. Still not moving from the processing screen during validation and the yellow error in internet explorer is still present.Friday, July 8, 2011 4:32 AM

Perform a backup of your personal files, then use a Dell Windows 7 Reinstallation disc to perform a "clean install".
See: How to order Dell Backup Discs and How To Restore or Reinstall Microsoft Windows on a Dell Computer

Follow Noel's suggestion if you wish to continue troubleshooting the issue
(Please Note: this may take longer to resolve the issue and finding resolution to the issue is not guaranteed. Ultimately you may need to follow Carey's suggestion)
Follow Carey's suggestion is you wish to resolve the issue as soon as possible
(Please Note: Carey's suggestion will revert your Windows back to Factory default and you will have to reinstall and reconfigure all of your programs and apps again as well as import all your backed up saved data).

Great - please run another MGADiag report so that we can check that all is well.
