Assigning unicode to a custom hot key RRS feed

  • Question

  • Would really like to know if the functionallity of assigning a Unicode to a custom hotkey is present in windows 10, otherwise would i really like to see this feature present in a future distro of Windows.

Some background info, i am studying Russian and need to be able to add a stress mark (Combining accent accute U + 301)to a letter, however, i am finding this very hard to do today, as i need to copy paste the unicode every single time i need to access the symbol. Having a functionality like the one present in Ubuntu, where one is allowed to assign or edit existing hotkeys would be very much appreciated.
