    Hello,

I use windows Vista and had no problem with the windows update part until now. I've had this computer for 9 months with no problem and now, this most recent windows update won't make me open any webpages. I can connect to the internet because I can chat with my friends on messenger but I cannot open any websites. I get a "internet explorer is unable to load page" and I don't know what to do. Here is the list of updates:

    9 updates available:

Cumulative Security update for activexkillbits for windows vista

Cumalative security update for internet explorer 7 in windows vista

    security update for windows vista

    security update for windows vista

    security update for windows vista

    update for windows vista

    windows malicious software removal tool

cumulative update for media center for windows vista

update for windows mail junk email filter

I have been doing system restore for the past 6 days because June 11 was the last day it was working properly. But now that I go to system restore, June 11 isn't on the list to restore to. What am I going to do? Any insight in this matter is highly appreciated. Thanks.

    Hello my2janes,

These forums are for the support of Windows Genuine Advantage Validation issues. Your post does not appear to be Vista Activation or Validation related and is, unfortunately, off-topic for this forum (as well as outside my area of knowledge).

I suggest reposting your question to one of the Vista Newsgroups at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=42486 or go to the Microsoft Update solution center (http://support.microsoft.com/ph/6527#tab0) there is also link, on that page, to contact (free) Microsoft Update support.

Sorry I couldn't be more help,
