    hi everyone,

    i try to update account entity by using import wizard tool in crm 4

    and i want to update the owner of these accounts.

    in import wizard when i try to upload csv file it maps itself automatically.

    but it gives a warning.Column No:7 Name : Owner Ignored: COlumn not valid for create/update

    Hi Devcrm,

    I hope you are facing this issue because once entity record is created, you can not update owner of entity record using update method (which import is try to use internally), you have to use assign method to change record owner.

    So you could create a on demand workflow to assign your entity record to other.

    yes entity record is created before,

    is it imposible to assign account records by using import wizard?

    i can reassign records by using advanced find but i have 20.000 accounts should assign the other user.

    Hello,

    No you can't do this it is not possible to update owner using Import tool, check  You could write a console application to reassign owner if you want.
