Sync'd APPDATA folders on networked computers, can/should I undo? RRS feed

    Was so impressed after syncing My Documents, I decided to sync AppData folders on my 2 computers ... a desktop and newly acquired laptop. After pressing [ENTER] a thought flashed through my mind that I'd made a big mistake. Is this so ... will my settings now be scrambled, on one or both computers?

    Can I undo what I've done, or is there another way to fix this potential disaster?

    It depends on what programs you have installed. In most cases, it should not be an issue. I would, however, suggest removing the appdata folder from your Mesh. If settings are scrambled, you could try a System Restore, though I suspect that you should not have an issue.
