Win 7, Word 2007 Text Formatting

  I am starting to get E-mails that I would like to keep, when they arrive the format is OK, but when I save them to word 2007 the word spacing goes to pot ie large space between words and then short spaces, there is no conformaty.

  Could you please help this oldie (74 in 4 weeks who has lost all of my short term memory) to set up Word 2007 if that is what may be needed.
