Is it possible to install xp on the windows vista in another drive?

  I am currently using the lenvo laptop and it has a vita home installed. I have been using it for quite sometime now and i am not able to install the softwares which do not have the original license. Is there any way to disable to original license check for other softwares in vista? Can you please guide me on this?

  
  

  If not i want to install the XP in a new drive? is that possible to do? I am going for XP since vista is not allowing me to install unlicensed other softwares?
