    I  purchased sony laptop last year .for  virus which I have had to format the hard drive on. 
    Unfortunately, no CD's came with the purchase. I have tried to load windows XP from another XP disk I already had but it does not seem to accept my serial key.
    I have the original serial key as it is a sticker attached to the computer. The sticker states
