    I have tried to update Windows online and through the FixIt trouble shooter Windows Update.

    When using FixIt I get the message Windows Update componenets must be repaired.  I do not know how to do this.

    When using the online update option I get the message  "the website has encountered a problem..........error number 0x80070424"

    I am confused and seem to be going round and round in circle trying to access any sort of online help.
