MS force me to do illigeal download? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have genuin (nice glimmering cd) office 2003 SE.
Sometimes becuse windows and registry get slow and programs and other things is messing up so i do a complete reinstall of win.

I had 2003 office sometime now (since 2003?) and have never had any issu until yesterday.
It said I used up all my times to install office. WoW didnt know there was a count.

After alot of angry words, and try to bypass this MS ____ I didnt want to go to an "unsafe" site so I downloaded openoffice instead.
To bad  thou i like MSOffice.

But now i gues i can put it in a garbagecan becues it wont work any more or i do need a keygen.
Well have to look on the web for some creative ppl and test it in safe enviroment.

Realy hate that MS force me to piracy

Thinking of install office 2k (dosent need activation) but thats to "history"

So dont blame piracy blame your policy.

Q: is there a limit of installing windows XP that i dont know about?

  • Hello Mr Dodi,

Please install your Microsoft Office 2003.

If you get the "installed too many times" error during activation, please close the activation wizard and restart the computer.  Then, run the Activation Wizard again, but this time choose the option to Activate your product using the telephone ("telephonic activation").  If the automated phone system rejects your activation attempt, if you have called during normal business hours for your country/region, it will offer you an option to speak with a live activation representative.  Choose that option.  The activation representative will ask you a few questions to ascertain whether your use of the product is in compliance with the End User Licensing Agreement, and if so, they will activate your product.

Windows and Office product activation servers are programmed to give you the "installed too many times" error if your product has been installed and activated several times over a short time period.
