C#: Difficulty creating an ASPX with C# page language RRS feed

  • Question

  • It's rare that I work with ASPX files and so I am unsure how to setup the assembly references.  I'm trying to link to an Access database (accdb) but I cannot get the declarations to work for the ADODB.Recordset. What I have below I know is wrong, but I have tried all the following:

    <%@ Import Namespace="ADODB" %>
    using System.ADODB;

    The "using" declaration doesn't fail, but the aspx fails at the first call/use of ADODB:

    ADODB.Recordset rs = new ADODB.Recordset();
    I'm not sure exactly how to make this work or what I may be doing wrong. I can't seem to find an example beyond what you see here.
