Outlook 03 w Vcard RRS feed

    I have a user that is trying to attach a vcard in outlook 03. It is his information. he created the Vcard and has attached it to his signature. All seems to be fine. however when the recipient opens the vcard there is no phone information. The information was present when the vcard was created. how do i troubleshoot this. The OS is XP pro. it is up to date.

    can you double check on the contact info for the end user and make sure the phone number is actually there?

    did you create the vcard as a 'business card' selecting from the contacts?

    yes, the information is actually there. in we are selecting the contact in the business card section of the signature. I did notice that when we do this it is actually pulling the information from AD. when i populated the phone numbers etc in AD some of them came up in the v card. However this user has created his own contact information in his contacts. We are un able to select his own personal contact information. not sure why.... when we go to the contact and export to vcard as a file all information is there. So if we could just attach this vcard file to the signature. (which does not appear to be an option) we would be set.

     

    any suggestions would be great. Thanks.
