I have tried various solutions here. I get a message that the software protection service is not started. Diagnostic output included. Interested in a response. Some files are indicated as tampered.

I checked the UILanguages entry in the registry. Only En - us is listed.
An article linked to the Vistalizator sticky notes:"If only one language appears under this subkey, or the current operating system is Windows 7 Ultimate or Windows 7 Enterprise, the information that is provided in this article will not resolve your issue."
This was a PC build from parts with a OEM DVD provided. Windows was installed by me onto the brand new system. It was bought in Singapore, where I live.
