Live One Care/ Backing up & restoring RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am on the second backup CD. Suddenly today, it wants to backup and restore to the first CD again. Something is wrong. How do I fix this? Thank you

  • What do you mean that it wants to backup to the first CD again? Does it advise you to insert a blank CD or does it advise you to insert the disc labeled #1?

  • It advised to insert disc labeled 1. More things went wrong after that - Firewall got turned off - called tech. help, Firewall Repair was downloaded and run on Friday; then over Sat/ Sun, both virus- and spyware protection  and Malware protection were in RED status & wouldn't let me turn  them on.  It says Contact Help. but there's "no one home" over the weekend. It also mentions admin privileges evern thou' I am the only one on thes machine. I should be able to access whatever I need, being the owner and only operator. I am extremely disappointed in this paid-for, _sleeping_  "liveCare"

What turns this service off, and why doesn't it let me turn it back on?  Please Help.
