What do do when i lost my Vista activation key RRS feed

  • I lost my Windows Vista Home Premium activation key. What should i do?

    Extra Info:

    I have both XP and Vista, my computer came with XP installed on it and Vista was sent to me after its release because i had bought my comptuer during that special time were they would send you a free copy.

    So all in all what should I do

  • Search Google for the Magical Jelly Bean Finder.

    It searches your registry for the key that the OS is registered with.

    You could search the registry manually but its time consuming to read hex and if you happen to accidentally change a registry entry it could cause some problems with your computer.
