Question

Hey Folk's,
When ever I start word I get a box that says something about needing to activate Office. This Software is legally bought and paid for by me....for years. When I try to click on "Help / Activate Product", It tells me it's already activated. But I keep getting this box that says it ain't. Why is it after all these years I'm suddenly a Somali Pirate?
What do I need to do to fix this mess?
I've read the "Please Help" post from 101carmel ...we seem to be having the same issue.
I've followed the procedure down to running the MGA Diagnostic tool, with no luck, and here is the data returned to you for analysis:

FROM THE WINDOWS COA:
Windows XP Professional OEM Software in black lettering
It's a Light Blue, Yellow, and Green label with a thick silver thread running through it....like a security device on a Bill.
Has several numbers and bar codes on it.
Why do you want this info?...... the problem is with Office ain't it? I don't recall a COA tag coming with Office. It does have, besides the Product key a CD SET: number on a white tag about 2" long 1/2 high.
This didn't start until MS Update had me run the validation tool AGAIN for the up-teenth time.... it seems.
Help Please,

Thanks Carey,
Did what you said...seems to have fixed it.
I re-ran the office validation
http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/office/WhyValidate.aspx?displaylang=en
again and it passed.
Again, Thank You for the Quick Response and being "right-on",
