I deleted a partition in vista and now after updating to windows 7 I still only have a 320 GB harddrive showing. Before I deleted the partition I had a 640 hard drive . how can i get the 320 GB back?

You'd better post this question in the Windows Answers Forum at the following address

Anyway, your hard disk capacity is always the same: you must simply extend the Windows 7 partition to the full disk size.

I suggest you to perform a full backup of your data before trying to execute any action that modifies the partitions structure.
