  • Hi,

we are getting an error while performing Sync operation using Microsoft sync framework. We see the DonloadChanges Failed count as ' 2' and see the no.of records doesn't match with two servers (tables). after seeing the log we get the below error:

Cannot insert the value NULL into column 'EmployeeCode', table dbo.ABC; column does not allow nulls. INSERT fails.  The statement has been terminated.  Source : .Net SqlClient Data Provider  Help link :   Errors : System.Data.SqlClient.SqlErrorCollection  ClientConnectionId : 46e49192-4549-410a-ab4c-3bc57e03bce5  Class : 16  LineNumber : 12  Number : 515  Procedure : ABC_insert

  • we'll the error should give you a clue already.

is EmployeeCode included int the sync scope?

have you modified schemas after you configured the sync scopes?

check your ABC_insert to see if the column is there.
