Need help in selecting certifiation RRS feed

    Hi,

    I am software engineer working on .net since last 1.5 years.I want to do windows and web certifications in .net 4..0.

    I am confused between MCPD & MCSD.In MCSD exam it only gives option of asp.net mvc,but I want to do only in asp.net.

    Please suggest me exam path for web and windows certifications.

    Hi,

    Then why not pursue the certificate (MCPD Web Developer 4 or MCPD Windows Developer 4)? For more details on the papers required, please refer to this site.

    Do note that since the launch of Windows 8, Microsoft is moving towards certain newer technology such as MVC, HTML5, CSS etc. Thus, it is vital and useful if you can pick up those skills if you are interested and take on the certification (MCSD - http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/mcsd-certification.aspx)
