off topic - Blank DVD-R discs not recognised RRS feed

    When I insert a blank dvd-r disc into my dvd drive the disc is not recognised and all I get when i double click on E:\ is "PLEASE INSERT DISC", Can someone please help me?  I have reset all autoplay devices to no avail.

    Hello Linchy, do you see this message when using One Care backup or is this a general computer issue. Do you have any DVD applications installed such as Nero or Roxio?
