Change CRM short date format (system and users) RRS feed

  • Hello Everybody,

    I need some assistance regarding the short date format for CRM 4.0 (rollup 11).

    My client's requirements are that all the short date formats (system and user) must be dd/MM/yyyy. I have changed both the Application and SQL server's date format to the one that I want, done IIS reset, cleared internet cache, restarted the box and I still don’t the correct format in the drop down list (system or user settings). I have also tried changing it from both domain and non-domain machine via the website (existing IE cache files/cleared IE cache files), which was also unsuccessful.

    I have also tried the recommendations to update it directly in the DB - didn't work (even after an IIS reset and restart).

    Are there any other suggestions to fix this issue other than changing the regional settings (system and user) to another country? It is currently set to South Africa and the client does not want this changed.
