Antivirus for WHS and its clients RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi, I have just installed WHS PP1 and I haven't found anything about the recommended antivirus solution for the Home Server.
Should I install a regular antivirus like the one used for a PC or do I need a server oriented antivirus?

Please advice for both server and client computers.

As I don't trust the free AV, please let me know abput a good non expensive solution.

    Thanks

  • If you are going to install an antivirus application on your server, it should be one designed to work with Windows Home Server. At the moment, I believe that would be avast!, McAfee, and fSecure, all of which have WHS products.
I'm not on the WHS team, I just post a lot. :)
