CRM 2011 e-mail router with Exchange online without exchange admin user RRS feed

  • Hello all,

    Anyone knows if its possible to configure the outgoing email through Exchange Online if I have not the exchange admin user?

    One of our customers have the e-mail service with a thrid party company. That company manage the e-mails through Exchange Online. The problem is that this company don't want to give us the admin user because they have more customers in the same Exchange Online Portal.

    In CRM Email Router, there are mainly two kinds of choices:

    1, configure the outgoing profile with the exchange admin account > this will save work for the Email Router setup and end-user settings

    2, configure the outgoing profile for each CRM user one by one > this doesn't need an exchange admin account; however in this way, you will need to create as many outgoing profiles as the CRM users.
