Office Enterprise 2007 Validation Error 0x80180104

Question
-
I have followed all the standard preliminary steps as outlined in other threads.
Windows XP validates
Office 2007 Enterprise Fails
Visio 2007 Fails
Project 2007 Fails
Windows XP - Toshiba OEM Install
Office 2007 Enterprise / Visio / Project - Action Pack Subscription
Toshiba M5 came with a 60 day eval of Office Pro which was never activated, and was uninstalled before installing Enterprise.
Office Enterprise registered without a problem when installed. This problem reared up when I tried to download an update to Outlook 2007 to correct performance issues.

Bimmerz,
It may appear the trial version and other versions may have been removed. Sometimes remenants are left behind without your knowledge. This is why I recommend using the tool and remove all office products then reinstall. In turn you would have to activate the stand alone products as well as the office suite.
Thank you,

Bimmerz,
Your issue appears to be outside the scope of the Genuine Advantage forum. In an attempt to assist I would like to provide the following information.
Please look @ the following Knowledge Base (KB) article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928218/en-us. Here you will find detailed instructions for removing beta release versions of Office Suite 2007 or program. Currently you have multiple versions of an Office Suite as well as stand alone versions of productivity programs. Please remove the trial version of the Office Suite which came with your laptop. Next try to validate again. Also Visio and Project Professional will need to be activated separatel.
Important: This article contains information about how to modify the registry. Make sure that you back up the registry before you modify it. Make sure that you know how to restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up, restore, and modify the registry, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
“Description of the Microsoft Windows registry”: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/256986/
Please post back here and let us know if this works. Thank you.

Please re-read my original message.
"Please look @ the following Knowledge Base (KB) article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928218/en-us. Here you will find detailed instructions for removing beta release versions of Office Suite 2007 or program."
I have never had Beta software installed.
"Currently you have multiple versions of an Office Suite as well as stand alone versions of productivity programs. Please remove the trial version of the Office Suite which came with your laptop."
I stated in my original post that I had removed the trial version of Office before installing 2007 Enterprise. The trial version is not installed, and was never activated.
"Next try to validate again. Also Visio and Project Professional will need to be activated separatel. "
Visio and Project were already activated successfully when I installed them.Wednesday, August 15, 2007 2:08 PM -
