add-in dosn't work in word document RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have a add-in into ms word document. Clicking on the command bar ( standard bar )  button  for my add-in displays a windows form. When I start MSWord( 2003 ) , it creates a new document and my add-in button is in the standard toolbar. When I click on the button the add-in displays the required form and everything works great.
But, when is save this document as .doc or as .dot and open it again, the add-in button is there , but clicking on it does not do anything!! I am really stuck on this. I have searched online for any similar problem for over two days , but no results. Any insight into this issue will be appreciated.

The add-in is written in C# using VS2005.
