    Under the SharePoint Technology section there should be a forum specifically dedicated to SharePoint architecture.  There are a lot of question concerning how to architect SharePoint, ie how many front ends, application servers, replication, etc, that could be answered in this forum.

    I read all the message headings in all the SharePoint forums (Except Enterprise Content Management) and especially every message heading in the General forum.

    There have been very few threads that could be regarded as specifically architecture ones.

    I don't think this request is justified (certainly not in the short term).

    Especially considering that there is still no forum (or group of forums) for either Project Server 2007 or SBS, both of which are to some extent related to SharePoint.
