  • Can you please provide a little more information?  Are you talking about printing from SQL Management Studio or from a program or something else?

  • Since you're using C#, that was a good place to go, but there is also a WPF forum at http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/wpf/threads that may have been helpful.  Also, if you're using Visual Studio, there's a Visual Studio Database Development Tools forum at http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vstsdb/threads.

  • I suggest you to learn how to divide your question into unrelated steps. Here dataset can't print by itself and your printer does not know what a dataset is. The connection is a cache created in your program (such as in memory or file system) and a printing library (WPF in this case). If you do not give specific details on how those steps are connected, people will end up guessing what you are trying to do and waste your waiting time and people's time trying to figure out what you really want. This does not help you to complete with other clearer, more focused questions, especially in irrelevant forums like the Visual C# forums.

If you need help in loading data into datasets, visit the ADO.Net DataSets forum. It is also the forum for Linq to DataSet. Not sure why you mention dataset with Linq to SQL. Linq to SQL does not read data into a DataSet. It generates its own entity classes.

The ado.net forums are listed at http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/category/dataplatformdev. To draw to printer using WPF, visit the WPF forum.
