15 day trial automatically in effect (?) and why is my computer very slow (?) RRS feed

    Hello,

     

    I had to have my laptop completely wiped clean since it was infected with a virus. I took it to Futurshop and they told me that I would have a 15 day trial with the Windows OneCare. It is showing up on the laptop but it states that I am still at risk. The computer is processing much slower than it used to and I have to refresh constantly to get to the page I want.

     

    Is the 15 day trial in effect despite me stating that I need to take other steps to not be at risk and is that effecting the speed of the computer as well?

    Yes, the trial period will automatically be in effect upon the installation of onecare.

    OneCare on red status, telling you to take actions. You should.

    Computer processing much slower, it could affect.

    OneCare at risk, open onecare, you should take those actions, resolving those issues could be the solution to make your computer respond much faster.
