Why do I need to pay again? RRS feed

  • Hi, I just re-installed my Windows Live One Care earlier today after uninstalling it due to virus and spyware problems (and the instructions from the Microsoft help & support website told me to uninstall in case of problems). I am also not done with my subscription to the services of Windows Live One Care (which ends sometime in November). When I re-installed it however, it asked for me to pay again. I am not sure whether I should proceed in repaying for the product since I never finished my old subscription and because it was the instructions from the help & support center that told me to uninstall my Windows Live One Care. If I pay will there be a notification sent back to me saying that Microsoft has already recieved my payments or have I just thrown away $50 )-: ??? And if I do need to pay do I have to use the same credit card I used last time?
