Have uninstalled Genuine Advantage failed copy of Office 2007 Enterprise and installed GENUINE Office 2007 Prof Plus but STILL saying not Genuine copy RRS feed

    Help, Help, Help!

    Please, please can someone get me out of this! I have uninstalled what was flagged as not a genuine copy of Office 2007 Enterprise and installed a recently purchased, brand new Office Professional Plus 2007 and I am STILL getting the horrible 'This copy of Office is not genuine'!

    I have done the right thing and purchased the product, but I feel cheated now. Is this fixable? My op sys is Windows Vista Home Premium, SP2.

    Help greatly appreciated.

    I purchased this software from Software4Students - is this a genuine company? Have they given me a fake product key?

    BTW - I have been online and tried to get the new version recognised and I have been into the Office Button/Word Options/Resources/Activate, but nothing has worked. TM.

Click "Run" to download and start the Utility.  When asked, click the "Continue" button.  When the utility completes its run, click the "Copy" button, then come back here and paste the report into your post.

    They are a legit seller of software in the UK and Ireland as long as you qualify under the license terms that they and Microsoft made.
     
    As for your issue, have you totally uninstalled the previous version and rebooted the computer?  If not try that first and post the results back.
