CRM 2015 - Server side syn - How to get more error details about Trace Logs? RRS feed

  • We have server side sync set up in CRM 2015. For incoming email, every now and then we keep on getting Errors thrown by mailbox, when we check the Trace Log on particular message it has very generic error details, like one shown in following screenshot. How to get more detailed error from server? We cannot keep CRM trace enable all the time in production environment so that option is not a feasible for us

  • Try

    1. advanced find, pick plugin trace log (This needs to be turned on in global settings).
    2. DB and App server event logs.

    Also it looks like this is more of a licensing issue than anything else.

  • I checked "Traces" in advance find, but it does not have much info. 

    Nothing in DB and App Server Event Logs.

    User account has System Administrator Role with Professional CAL, hence Licensing should not be issue here.
