Knowing WHICH MCITP certification you're pursuing (as there are several) would help.

Hi Abel,
You didn't exactly point out what kind of MCITP you are talking about.
There are different kinds of MCITP certifications, see here: http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/certification/mcitp.aspx#tab2
On that page you'll find the exams that are needed to accomplish the MCITP title. When you click on each exam you'll find a section called Preparation Materials, there you can find all the info you need to prepare for the exam. For most exams there's a self-paced learning kit available (by MS Press). But you could also take the recommemded classroom training as linked there (depending on you knowledge and experience with the product). The section Skill Measured describes what subjects you can expect questions about. Before you buy any books seperatly, for some MCITP's there is a bundle of books available that contains all the books you need (MS press), that might save you some money.
Good luck!

Ok,
If you want to accomplish both, I suggest to do the MCITP Server admin first, and then the MCITP EA.
Depending on your knowledge I would start here: http://www.microsoft.com/education/MSITAcademy/curriculum/roadmap/server/mcitp/default.mspxAnd then follow this one:

Unless you're smarter than everyone else, you will need study materials - either books, or CBT training (or both)...or classroom training. You should be aware that the exams now include questions on Server 2008 R2. The books haven't been updated to include the needed information. I believe TestOut and Trainsignal's CBT training is updated to include this.
Personally, I'd suggest doing the client exam (70-680) first, as it's the easier of all of them, and then move on to the Server 2008 exams.
