Customer Portal with CRM 2011 - Sign In issue

Question
-
Hello, I have installed the customer portal on Azure and it seems to be working but I am having trouble getting users signed into the portal. After I have logon at login.live.com (link from customer portal), it redirect me to http://{GUID}.apps.dev.live.com/ that tell me that "Server not found". I assume that this is role url, but it have a strange format (in deployment guide it http://<role-ID>.cloudapp.net). Thanks for any help!

Hi there,
Did you set up the live id authentication correctly? You need to follow step 8 in this doc to set it up: https://skydrive.live.com/view.aspx?cid=CFB122124E1DF171&resid=CFB122124E1DF171%21120.

Hi Mary,
- Did you create an invitation code for the user?
- Did you send a portal sign-up invitation email to the user (step 2 in the documentation)? After the user receives the mail, a link can be clicked which will request the user to answer a secret question. After the user gives the correct answer, I believe he should be able to get into the portal.
Thanks,
Maria

Hi Mary,
I have a question regarding the portal sign-up invitation email to the user.
I am having issue where in the user the I invited doesnt recieve the verificaton email, however I verified the System jobs, that the email has been send.
Just to give access to the user, I manually copy and paste the verification link and send it the users email address.
Is this because CRM online expects or supports Outlook email address only?
Thanks.

Did you check the spam folder of the recipient? The email invite is probably there.
Thanks.Prashanth
