Windows 8 computer doesn't start up, always goes into auto recovery mode

  My computer (Windows 8, Acer) doesn't start up.
  Every time I try to open it the Acer logo comes up and it starts diagnosing the computer without allowing it me to start it up on safe mode

  It says windows is repairing, diagnosing, and trying to fix problems, and this will keep happening in a loop until I force shut it off

  This occurred after I had put the computer to sleep, coming back I thought the computer was off and turned off the computer by the plug, later when trying to open up the computer this issue kept happening to the PC
