Hi,
Our company is going to use semantic end point protection antivirus to scan
our CRM servers
System administrator asked about the files and services that should be
excluded in the scanning process so the system will not be affected form the
scanning
we are using CRM 4.0 with SQL server 2005 we found articles for Sharepoint
and SQL server but no article for CRM can anybody help

Hi.
We have problems with symantec configuration. Solution - is to include CRM website to trusted zone of symantec to prevent scripts check which cause decreasing of performance.

Hi Marwa,Just to add to Andriy's post.Regardless of which AV you are using on the server, make sure you switch off on-access scanning for the MS CRM Website. Otherwise the system performance will deteriorate when more than 1 user logs in.Hassan.

Hi,
If you have not resolved this, please check with your Anti-Virus provider to find out the exact steps you need to take to exclude MS CRM web site and associated pages from being scanned by the product. You might also find some documentation in the product help files. The suggestion is to exclude MS CRM from your Anti-Virus scanning.

OR
symantec truested zone, and if it is in symantec where exactly can we find this option
Not: we are using symantec end point protection 11.0 MR 4
