Bullets and Numbering not working RRS feed

  • Question

  • Quite some time back, a number of us complained that the TAB key does not work to indent lines, as it used to in the old interface. We were told this would be fixed (it has NOT). Then we were asked why we don't just use bullets and numbering.

This morning, I wanted to use numbering (or bullets) and made the unhappy discovery that the feature insist on numbering the first line in the message window. I would expect it to apply the numbering to the current line, until I tell it to stop. If numbering insists on starting with the first line in the message box, it's totally useless...

    Bullets behave the same way.

  • It is an old IE problem. You would have to go into the HTML editor and put
before and
after each line and remove the
s. Not a lot of joy in that. Fixing this is going to be difficult, the editor is being used in a mode that's pretty incompatible with IE. It works fine in Firefox.
