Is ISA coexisting with Edge A/V role on the same box supported? RRS feed

    customer's network topology is not able to give a seperate subnet for Edge A/V role to internet directly and they also require to protect Edge server behind firewall such as ISA.

     

    Due to A/V role must be routing, is it possible to setup ISA and Edge on the same box?  thanks.

    No, the Edge server is not supported when colocated with any other server software.

    It does seem you are asking two different questions.  Possible? Yes.  Supported? Defer to Mike's response above. Smile  A poor idea?  Probably.
