Where to start learning Windows internals

I am a Bios Developer and want to learn how to how to debug Windows (probably 7). I need to understand the internals of Windows and how to debug it when there are issues concerning the Bios. I have observed others doing a check build and debugging Windows but have not done it myself.

What training courses/ books would be a good path for someone who understands the PC architecture and data structures that are passed up from Bios but has only a Users interaction with Windows.
