CRM 2013 Online: Hide standard command bar button based on value in a lookup record on the form RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi there,

Working CRM 2013 online deployment. Using a system entity named 'Appointment' where I've a 'Account' lookup on the form. Now I want to hide the button on the command bar (named 'Mark as complete') when the account record's 2 fields have either 0 or 1 value and display the same button if those fields have value greater than 1. How can I set the Enable / Display rule for this piece of requirement?

Any help in this regard is much appreciated!

  • Solution for this is:

To write a javascript to perform the above conditional operation and return true/false. And add custom rule on the 'Mark as Complete' button in 'Enable Rules'. Tested this behavior on custom command bar button. However, the same should work well on system button as well.

    Hope this helps!
