(Yet another) Windows Build 7601 not genuine issue.

Question
-
Appreciate some help. I have run the diagnostic report - reproduced below.I have an HP Touchsmart 310 PC purchased from John Lewis - an unimpeachable retailer. I would put the life of my first born that this is a bona fide and genuine installation of Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit). Try telling that to the rubbish, paranoid validation program. You may guess I am a little hacked off but ultimately I want this error cleared as it's not nice being accused of software piracy, even if its another piece of software doing it.Unfortunately, there does not seem to be a certificate of authenticity on the machine or the packaging.I have already restored once from the recovery partition which cleared this error for a few weeks but it soon returned. I have spoken to HP support, they have sent me a new set of HP system recovery discs. But this will reformat the hard drive and having gone through the recovery process once it is a day of my life I will never get back and don't want to do it again. And having seen the fault recur, I am not confident it is a once and for all fix.I have done the things suggested on other threads involving slui.exe and the activation helpline. Their suggestion was that I contact another support desk that only works 8-6 Monday to Friday. As I need to be at the PC to do this, I will need to take a day off work. Again, I am reluctant to do this. But, at Christmas, miracles happen. I think I have been good so on the most magical night of the year, I hope for a favourable visit from a man with a beard and a red suit or failing that, a Windows 7 guru.Merry Christmas.Diagnostic Report (1.9.0027.0):-----------------------------------------Windows Validation Data-->Validation Code: 50Cached Online Validation Code: N/A, hr = 0xc004f012Windows Product Key: *****-*****-73CQT-WMF7J-3Q6C9Windows Product Key Hash: KaFG+RmurcM3ZxzWyfEP9WtPUJw=Windows Product ID: 00359-OEM-8992687-00010Windows Product ID Type: 2Windows License Type: OEM SLPWindows OS version: 6.1.7601.2.00010300.1.0.003ID: {27891717-0C5A-43CE-BD93-B0E4D8B1D53E}(3)Is Admin: YesTestCab: 0x0LegitcheckControl ActiveX: N/A, hr = 0x80070002Signed By: N/A, hr = 0x80070002Product Name: Windows 7 Home PremiumArchitecture: 0x00000009Build lab: 7601.win7sp1_gdr.110622-1506TTS Error:Validation Diagnostic:Resolution Status: N/AVista WgaER Data-->ThreatID(s): N/A, hr = 0x80070002Version: N/A, hr = 0x80070002Windows XP Notifications Data-->Cached Result: N/A, hr = 0x80070002File Exists: NoVersion: N/A, hr = 0x80070002WgaTray.exe Signed By: N/A, hr = 0x80070002WgaLogon.dll Signed By: N/A, hr = 0x80070002OGA Notifications Data-->Cached Result: N/A, hr = 0x80070002Version: N/A, hr = 0x80070002OGAExec.exe Signed By: N/A, hr = 0x80070002OGAAddin.dll Signed By: N/A, hr = 0x80070002OGA Data-->Office Status: 109 N/AOGA Version: N/A, 0x80070002Signed By: N/A, hr = 0x80070002Office Diagnostics: 025D1FF3-364-80041010_025D1FF3-229-80041010_025D1FF3-230-1_025D1FF3-517-80040154_025D1FF3-237-80040154_025D1FF3-238-2_025D1FF3-244-80070002_025D1FF3-258-3Browser Data-->Proxy settings: N/AUser Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Win32)Default Browser: C:\Users\Keith and Bailey\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exeDownload signed ActiveX controls: PromptDownload unsigned ActiveX controls: DisabledRun ActiveX controls and plug-ins: AllowedInitialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe: DisabledAllow scripting of Internet Explorer Webbrowser control: DisabledActive scripting: AllowedScript ActiveX controls marked as safe for scripting: AllowedFile Scan Data-->Other data-->Office Details: <GenuineResults><MachineData><UGUID>{27891717-0C5A-43CE-BD93-B0E4D8B1D53E}</UGUID><Version>1.9.0027.0</Version><OS>6.1.7601.2.00010300.1.0.003</OS><Architecture>x64</Architecture><PKey>*****-*****-*****-*****-3Q6C9</PKey><PID>00359-OEM-8992687-00010</PID><PIDType>2</PIDType><SID>S-1-5-21-1015256276-3010149279-3103389266</SID><SYSTEM><Manufacturer>Hewlett-Packard</Manufacturer><Model>Aronia</Model></SYSTEM><BIOS><Manufacturer>American Megatrends Inc.</Manufacturer><Version>6.01</Version><SMBIOSVersion major="2" minor="6"/><Date>20100813000000.000000+000</Date></BIOS><HWID>3A4F3107018400F4</HWID><UserLCID>0809</UserLCID><SystemLCID>0409</SystemLCID><TimeZone>GMT Standard Time(GMT+00:00)</TimeZone><iJoin>0</iJoin><SBID><stat>3</stat><msppid></msppid><name></name><model></model></SBID><OEM/><GANotification/></MachineData><Software><Office><Result>109</Result><Products/><Applications/></Office></Software></GenuineResults>Spsys.log Content: 0x80070002Licensing Data-->Software licensing service version: 6.1.7601.17514Name: Windows(R) 7, HomePremium editionDescription: Windows Operating System - Windows(R) 7, OEM_SLP channelActivation ID: d2c04e90-c3dd-4260-b0f3-f845f5d27d64Application ID: 55c92734-d682-4d71-983e-d6ec3f16059fExtended PID: 00359-00178-926-800010-02-2057-7601.0000-3582011Installation ID: 002943127523442664532273248004916601824035528682374595Processor Certificate URL: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=88338Machine Certificate URL: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=88339Use License URL: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=88341Product Key Certificate URL: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=88340Partial Product Key: 3Q6C9License Status: NotificationNotification Reason: 0xC004F057.Remaining Windows rearm count: 3Trusted time: 24/12/2011 19:45:13Windows Activation Technologies-->HrOffline: 0x00000000HrOnline: 0xC004C533HealthStatus: 0x0000000000000000Event Time Stamp: 12:24:2011 11:17ActiveX: Registered, Version: 7.1.7600.16395Admin Service: Registered, Version: 7.1.7600.16395HealthStatus Bitmask Output:HWID Data-->HWID Hash Current: LAAAAAEAAQABAAEAAAABAAAAAgABAAEA6GEgF4I49uAGY/itKmxmHYrgGHk=OEM Activation 1.0 Data-->N/AOEM Activation 2.0 Data-->BIOS valid for OA 2.0: yes, but no SLIC tableWindows marker version: N/AOEMID and OEMTableID Consistent: N/ABIOS Information:ACPI Table Name OEMID Value OEMTableID ValueAPIC HPQOEM SLIC-CPCFACP HPQOEM SLIC-CPCSRAT HPQOEM SLIC-CPCHPET HPQOEM SLIC-CPCMCFG HPQOEM SLIC-CPCOEMB HPQOEM SLIC-CPCSSDT HPQOEM SLIC-CPCSaturday, December 24, 2011 8:58 PM

BIOS valid for OA 2.0: yes, but no SLIC table
For some reason your computer is not properly reading the slic table. You will have to change your product key to the one on your COA: (it is likely to be in the battery compartment.)
How to change the product key.
click start
right click computer
select properties
scroll to the bottom of the page and select change product key
You may have to activate by phone
How to activate Windows 7 manually (activate by phone)
1) Click Start, and in the Search box type: slui.exe 4
2) Next press the 'ENTER' key
3) Select your 'Country' from the list.
4) Choose the 'Phone Activation' option.
5) Stay on the phone (do not select/press any options) and wait for a person to help you with activation.
Additional info:
Additional information:
Computers, which are built by large manufactures that come with Windows Pre-Installed, come with two (2) Product Keys:
A) OEM SLP: This key comes pre-installed in Windows, when it comes from the Factory. This key is geared to work with the special instructions found only on that Manufacturer's computer hardware. So when Windows was installed using the OEM SLP key (at the factory) Windows 7 looks at the motherboard and sees the special instructions and Self-Activates. (that's why you did not need to Activate your computer after you brought it home)
B) COA SLP: This is the Product key that you see on the sticker on the side (or bottom,[ or inside the battery compartment]) of your computer. It is a valid product key, but should only be used in limited situations (such as if the OEM SLP key stops self-activating for whatever reason). The key must be activated by Phone. (Note: All manufacturers that use the OEM SLP system are required by contract to include a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) sticker, that has a COA SLP key, on the computer)
