Missing font in MSDN RRS feed

  • Question

  • hi,

regarding to the Hebrew forums in MSDN:

the new "metro" design of the forum is using new font that not exist in hebrew yet (Segoe UI).

while in TECHNET there is "fallback" to some other font that exist in Hebrew (probably Arial), MSDN dont have the same fallback.

so, for example you can take a look at some shared forum like Azure that exist both in MSDN and Technet:

the MSDN forum is displaying the WRONG font that is hard to read while the same forum in TECHNET displaying the correct font.

    Thanks,

    Eran.

  • Hi Eran, in a couple of months the MSDN Azure forum will have the same metro theme as Technet so the font will be the same. That should fix the ‘hard to read’ issue.

    Thanks for reporting this.

  • Hi,

is there no option to resolve it now and not to wait couple of months? the font is very unreadable and its a matter of small CSS fix.

i have to mention that this happened only after the last change in the design. before that it looks fine. so as i see it, its a new bug that should be enter to the bug list in TFS.

    Thanks!

    Eran.

Is this the team's official solution? If so, then that's the answer.

    Thanks!
