90 day trial expired after 5 days RRS feed

  • Question

  • I started the 90 day trial.  A few days later I had to replace my network card.  Which of course triggered Vista activation.  So I reactivate vista.  however not Live Care won't update, saying my subscription has expired.  I don't want to pay for this yet until I've seen it working for more than 5 days.

I tried uninstalling, and reinstalling.  No change.

Does anoyone know how can I get the trial to work?

    Thanks

  • Check to see that your computer date and time are set correctly. When the trial is reinstalled I believe the term becomes 14 days.

  • TimW451,

Thank you Jim, I was trying to get in here to post. Smile

Thank you for visiting the Live OneCare program forum. In support of Jim, could you please check your computer's clock and date to make sure it is properly set. Post back for continued support.

  • Hi you were right my clock was not set properly due to a cmos clear.  Does this mean I now have a 14 day trial?

  • Hello Tim, if you open One Care you should see the time remaining on your trial in the lower left of the main window.

  • TimW451,

Also, is this your first time downloading OneCare, have you downloaded it in the last 3 months before on this same machine? Have you used your LiveID and Password on this computer (keeping in mind trials don't require that)?
