Windows Live Spaces date unavailable under archive RRS feed

    I have posted a Blog on my Windows Live Spaces using WL Writer with a date in the past (about a year ago).  The archive will not reflect the post date.  It only shows months since I first set up the space (August 2008).  How can I fix this?

    Sorry, this is a limitation of Spaces--it won't show posts older than the creation of the Space. You may be able to use File | Open in Writer to retrieve the old post and modify its date so that it does show up.

    Joe, I'm not sure I understand what you're saying.  I'm actually able to view posts that I dated in WLW to before I created the Space.  My only 'problem' is that it doesn't populate any additional months under the archive or summary listing for dates prior to the Spaces creation month (August 2008).  Is this not what you expect as a WLW developer?

    Sorry, forgot to reply. You're right, my mistake. And this is a known bug of Spaces, it's always been this way. Apparently it is hard to fix but I don't actually know why.
