Dear,
I have an question :
Is possible import " Database backup " from windows home server 2003 with Power pack 3 english to Windows home server 2011 italian ?
I have created backup of DATABASE BACKUP with an add-ins : WHS Backup Database-Backup (BDBB)
Please very important for me, restore from WHS 2003 to WHS 2011 !

Garry is correct that you can't import a backup of the backup database from a V1 server to a 2011 server, but it's because of changes to the database format, not because of the use of vhds. Those are used, but only for backing up the server.
There is a FAQ (in the FAQ section of the forum) which explains ways to archive single backups out of your old backup database.

Two totaly different backup engines with WHS 2011 being
based on VHD.

thank you for reply ... but is not possible an conversion, import or any way for don't lose the old backup ?
or it is possible to save on blue-ray, on dvd disk, the backup of every single pc ?
if possible with which program it is possible to open the backup ?
