HOW DO I GET ONECARE TO STOP ASKING ME TO RENEW AFTER I HAVE RENEWED IT RRS feed

  • Question

  • My wife and I renewed our subscription just fine.  However, ONECARE is still telling me to renew and the ONECARE symbol is still read.  I went to my billing profile and it states that my account has been enabled and it shows my credit card payment.  I confirmed with my bank and the transaction has posted.  How can I reset my ONECARE so it will stop asking me to renew?  Please help.  It is very annoying.

  • It sometimes takes a day or so for subscription status to update on the desktop.

  • Some additional information (I know you've done some of this already) -

It can normally take up to 24 hours to reflect the updated subscription status after renewal. However, some people have reported that they have experienced delays of days to weeks on one or more PCs in their subscription. You can try the following:

    • Check your PC date and time.
    • Check your subscription status by logging in with your subscription LiveID at http://billing.microsoft.com
    • Confirm that this is the same LiveID shown to be the Subscription ID in OneCare - Help/About…
    • Open OneCare and click "Check for Updates" to have OneCare check for updated credentials

If your subscription is correctly shown at the Billing site, but incorrect in OneCare and your PC date and time are correct, please contact support.
