Invalid product key For Windows Xp activation RRS feed

  • I have Windows xp on my harddrive and i used a windows cd to format my harddrive and do a fresh reinstall but the product key on the bottum of my case says its an invalid product key. Why does it say its invalid when thats the product key HP used for my system?

      I do not believe the product key listed in your Diagnostic Report came with your computer from HP. If you do a search of the internet, for the last 15 digitis of the Product Key in your Diagnostic Report (BRVBB-38MQ9-3PMFT), you will see over 9 pages of results. This means this Product Key was leaked and is, most likely, blocked by Microsoft.

     

      I suggest contacting the person or company that sold you this copy of XP (or that sold you the computer that had this copy of XP already installed on it) and demand the Genuine Microsoft software, that you paid for. Or at lest a refund.
